My Durham work includes a corporate anniversary party at the Radisson Blu, and, for two years running now, the fundraiser in the Bishops Suite at Ramside Hall Hotel in Carville. Being asked back to the same room the following year is the clearest sign a client trusted the night to go well.
A County Durham fundraiser has its own rhythm: warm, generous, but never rushed. My grounding in live television and comedy is where that read comes from, twenty years of adjusting pace and tone to whatever the room in front of me actually needs, not what a script says it should be.
