How it plays
How a round of Family Fortunes works.
- Two teams, one boardSplit the room into two sides. The board shows a survey question with the top answers hidden behind numbered panels.
- Guess the surveyEach side calls out answers. The popular ones flip up with a ding and score; the duds earn a strike and a groan from the room.
- Three strikes and stealThree strikes hands the other team one guess to steal the whole pot — the moment every round turns on.
- Fast money finishThe classic two-player fast-money round closes the game, with a live 30-second clock on the big screen.

Why it works

Is this the real Family Fortunes?
It is my own recreation, built as software specifically for live events — the format everyone knows, with survey questions written around your company rather than a licensed TV product.
Can the survey questions be about our company?
Yes — that is the best part. I write surveys around your business, your teams and your industry, alongside general ones, so the answers get the biggest laughs.
How many people can play?
Two teams play the board at once, but the whole room is in it — shouting answers, groaning at the strikes. It works from 20 guests to a few hundred.
What do you need at the venue?
A screen or projector I can plug into, and a microphone. I bring and run the software myself, and there is nothing for your venue to install.
