My work in Monaco has been at the Yacht Club de Monaco, hosting the fundraising portion of a gala for Sheba Medical Center that closed the night at just over £1,000,000, funding care for patients from Gaza, Syria, Ukraine and beyond. Art lots, a signed guitar and a vintage car ride all went under the gavel, and the room needed framing, not just facts, to reach a number like that.
A seven-figure target does not get hit by luck. It gets hit by pacing the room correctly, building a story around each lot, and knowing exactly when to push and when to let a moment breathe. That comes from twenty years of live television and comedy presenting, the same instinct wherever in the world the room happens to be.
